Cottage Hill Orchards & Porter’s Finest Jam and Jellies are owned and operated by Carl & Maghan Porter. Both natives of Lebanon, NH, Carl is a 3rd generation farmer and jelly maker. Carl’s grandparents operated Cottage Hill Farm from 1949 to 1986 and his parents operated Porter’s Greenhouse & Hardy Hill Herbs from 1975 to 1995.
The orchard and home kitchen are located at 53 Stevens Road in Lebanon, on a portion of what was once Cottage Hill Farm. Here they raise their four children and their growing garden and orchard.
The jams and jellies are produced in their home kitchen using the homestead exemption allowed by RSA 143-A:5, VII.
